This policy explains what information Lock In collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers the Lock In iOS app, our website and the Lock In waitlist.
Information we collect
What we collect depends on how you use Lock In:
- Practice mode. Your practice profile, simulated balances, trades, watchlist and preferences stay on your device. We do not receive them.
- Account. When you sign in, our authentication provider Privy verifies your email address or linked Google, X (Twitter) or Apple account. We receive a Privy user identifier. If you link X, we also receive your X profile picture for your avatar.
- Profile. The username and display name you choose.
- Wallet. Your Solana wallet address. Wallets are self-custodial and created through Privy. We never receive or store your private keys or recovery material.
- Social activity. Posts, comments, coin theses, likes, follows, gang memberships, blocks and the reports you send.
- Market features. Your watchlist, price alerts and in-app notifications.
- Push notifications. If you allow notifications, your device’s push token and platform, so we can send alerts and activity from people you follow. Signing out removes it.
- Live trades and withdrawals. Order details you request, including wallet address, tokens, amounts, quotes, recipient address, transaction signature and status.
- Beta program. Feedback you send, with the app version and platform.
- Lock In waitlist. Your email address, consent and signup time.
- Technical data. Our hosting providers process IP addresses and request logs to operate the service and prevent abuse. We use hashed identifiers for rate limiting.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Lock In: to sign you in, show your profile and wallet, prepare quotes and withdrawals for you to sign, run social features, deliver alerts, moderate content, respond to support requests and prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell personal information, show third-party advertising or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
What other people can see
Your username, display name, avatar, posts, comments, theses and gang membership are visible to other Lock In users. Confirmed Lock In trades appear on other people’s charts only if you turn on public trade activity. Deposits and withdrawals are never shown to other users.
Blockchain transactions are public. Anything you sign on Solana, including your wallet address, amounts and transaction history, is permanently recorded on a public ledger that neither we nor anyone else can change or delete.
Service providers
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Privy, for sign-in and self-custodial wallets.
- Jupiter, for swap quotes and routing (wallet address, tokens and amounts).
- Solana RPC providers, to submit your signed transactions and check their status.
- Market data providers such as Jupiter, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal and Codex, which receive token and pool lookups but no personal information.
- Railway, which hosts our servers and database.
- Expo, to deliver push notifications (your device’s push token and the notification text).
- Apple, when you use Sign in with Apple or receive notifications.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information while your account is active. You can delete your live profile at any time in the app under Settings → Legal and Privacy → Manage live profile. Deletion removes your profile and its posts, comments, likes, follows, watchlist, alerts, notifications and gang membership.
To help you check transactions that were still in progress, we keep a minimal record of recent orders for up to 90 days after deletion, linked only to a one-way hash of your sign-in identifier. Moderation and security audit records are kept as needed to protect users. Practice data can be removed on your device from the same settings screen. Information already recorded on the blockchain cannot be deleted.
Security
We use encrypted connections, verified sign-in tokens, rate limits and access controls. Every live transaction requires your signature and our servers cannot sign on your behalf. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your devices and sign-in methods protected.
Children
Lock In is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, control public trade activity, block people, delete content and delete your account in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your information. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by law.
International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different data protection laws. We use providers that protect information as described in this policy.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date above. For significant changes we will also let you know in the app.
